Retail Key Holder - Full-Time
About The Position
The Vitamin Shoppe is hiring a full-time Retail Key Holder to support the management team and help create a personalized, memorable in-store shopping experience. The role is suited to someone passionate about health and wellness who enjoys engaging with customers, building lasting relationships, and learning about supplements. The Retail Key Holder helps meet sales and productivity goals, serves as Manager On Duty when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent, and assists with customer transactions, merchandising, pricing, store maintenance, loss prevention, and product receipts. The position also involves continuous product learning, teamwork, and performing additional duties as needed. Scheduling may be flexible, including holidays and weekends, depending on business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
- Enthusiasm and ability to effectively engage customers and Health Enthusiasts.
- Passion for the health and wellness industry.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the management team and execute tasks with excellence.
- Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting coworkers in doing the same.
- Work with integrity and act as Manager On Duty when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent.
- Process customer transactions efficiently.
- Merchandise shelves and price products appropriately.
- Build product knowledge through continuous learning activities.
- Collaborate with the store team, referred to as Health Enthusiasts.
- Maintain the store, follow loss prevention standards, process product receipts promptly, and keep shelves stocked and products priced correctly.
- Perform additional duties as required.
