About The Position
The Vitamin Shoppe is seeking a part-time Retail Key Holder to support store leadership and create personalized, memorable in-store shopping experiences. The role involves helping customers with health and wellness products, building customer loyalty, supporting sales goals, and maintaining store operations. The Key Holder may act as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or another Key Holder is absent. The position pays an estimated $17.00–$18.50 per hour, depending on role requirements, skills, experience, and organizational needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
- Enthusiasm and ability to effectively engage customers and Health Enthusiasts.
- Passion for the health and wellness industry.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the management team and execute assigned work with excellence.
- Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting teammates in doing the same.
- Build customer loyalty through personalized connections and memorable shopping experiences, including selling and building baskets.
- Act with integrity and serve as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Key Holder is absent.
- Process customer transactions efficiently; merchandise shelves and price products appropriately.
- Build product knowledge through continuous learning activities.
- Collaborate with the store team, referred to as Health Enthusiasts.
- Maintain the store, follow loss-prevention standards, process product receipts on time, and keep shelves stocked and products priced correctly.
- Perform additional duties as required.
