About The Position
The Vitamin Shoppe is seeking a part-time Retail Key Holder to support store management and help create personalized, memorable shopping experiences. The role combines customer service, sales, store operations, product learning, and leadership coverage. The Key Holder may act as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or another Key Holder is absent. The role offers an estimated wage of $18.00–$19.50 per hour, depending on role requirements, skills, experience, and organizational needs.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm and ability to engage effectively with customers and Health Enthusiasts.
- Passion for the health and wellness industry.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, and at different locations as business needs require.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the management team and execute assigned work effectively.
- Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting teammates in doing the same.
- Build customer loyalty through personalized connections, memorable shopping experiences, and sales.
- Work with integrity and act as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Key Holder is absent.
- Process customer transactions, merchandise shelves, and price products accurately.
- Build product knowledge through ongoing learning activities.
- Collaborate with the store team, referred to as Health Enthusiasts.
- Maintain the store, follow loss-prevention standards, process product receipts promptly, and keep shelves stocked and products priced accurately.
- Perform additional duties as required.
