About The Position

The Key Carrier role is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role. Key Carriers alternate duties based on store needs, predominantly performing Coordinator responsibilities and occasionally acting as Key Carrier, taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store. The role requires open availability, including nights and weekends, and involves modeling exceptional customer service, supporting store operations, coaching Associates, and helping maintain a safe and positive store environment.

Requirements

Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.

Capable of multitasking.
Superior communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Model exceptional customer service and create a positive internal and external customer experience.
Promote honesty and integrity, maintain confidentiality, and act as Manager on Duty in accordance with company policy and procedure.
Ensure the store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with the store plan, prioritizing as needed.
Address immediate customer service issues, provide appropriate coaching, and use discretion with customer service policies to satisfy customers.
Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas and ensure Associates follow operational procedures.
Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed according to company guidelines.
Communicate priorities and progress accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback; provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates.
Partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Support and participate in shrink reduction goals and programs.
Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
