Seasonal Retail Fulfillment Support Associate, Northshore
About The Position
As a Fulfillment Colleague, you help create a seamless, personalized shopping experience for omni-channel customers. The role combines sales-floor engagement with back-of-house fulfillment: selecting merchandise, packing and shipping online orders, and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup. You greet customers, resolve issues professionally, and support operational excellence, sales, customer loyalty, and store success. Daily work may include reviewing goals and product promotions, receiving and tagging merchandise, organizing the stockroom, fulfilling orders, recovering the sales floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, restocking merchandise, and supporting merchandise moves. You also share loyalty-program benefits, help customers complete purchases, and collaborate with colleagues to serve customers and communities. This is a seasonal role with flexible availability required, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Meet daily sales goals and work toward acquiring new customers and opening credit accounts.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Be resourceful, adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and contribute to a team.
- Talk, lift, move, stand, and reach with arms and hands; stand for at least two consecutive hours; lift at least 30 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach above eye level.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Select merchandise and pack and ship online orders accurately and carefully.
- Assist customers with in-store and curbside pickup.
- Greet customers, listen to their needs, and resolve issues professionally.
- Receive and tag merchandise and organize the stockroom.
- Recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, restock merchandise, and support merchandise moves.
- Share loyalty-program benefits and help acquire new customers by opening credit accounts.
- Work with colleagues to support store operations, achieve sales goals, and deliver positive customer experiences.
- Complete orders and organize the stockroom at the end of the day.
