Seasonal Retail Fulfillment Support Associate, Tacoma
About The Position
As a Fulfillment Colleague, you help create a seamless, personalized shopping experience for omni-channel customers. The role combines sales-floor engagement with back-of-house fulfillment work, including selecting merchandise, packing and shipping online orders, and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup. You greet customers, resolve issues professionally, and contribute through attention to detail, teamwork, and operational excellence. The job also includes receiving and tagging merchandise, organizing the stockroom, maintaining the sales floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, restocking merchandise, and supporting merchandise moves. Colleagues work toward sales goals, share loyalty-program benefits, and help prepare the store and team for success. This is a seasonal position in Tacoma.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
- Willingness to acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
- Resourcefulness and adaptability when priorities change, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 30 pounds.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Ability to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Select merchandise, pack and ship online orders, and assist with in-store and curbside pickup.
- Greet customers, listen to their needs, and resolve issues professionally.
- Receive merchandise, tag items, and organize the stockroom.
- Recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, restock merchandise, and support merchandise moves.
- Share loyalty-program benefits and help customers complete their shopping experience.
- Complete orders and organize the stockroom to prepare the team for the next day.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to sales goals and store results.
