About The Position

The Fragrance RSS Colleague provides professional customer service by selling and demonstrating fragrances and related items, contributing to the success of the department, and supporting fulfillment and other duties as needed. The role serves both digital and in-store customers, maintains fragrance inventory and presentation, and follows safety, hygiene, asset protection, and inventory-control procedures. Colleagues are typically scheduled for 30 or more hours per week for full-time work; hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate and share information with diverse customers and peers.
• Resourcefulness and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule that may include day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds; stand for at least two consecutive hours; and perform frequent moving, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing.
• Color vision.
• Ability to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and to process register transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to in-store and digital customers, making appropriate partnerships when needed.
• Explain and demonstrate fragrances through actual application or card application.
• Partner with the Fragrance Counter Manager or CSX Manager regarding inventory and other inaccuracies.
• Attend product training classes and seminars.
• Ensure proper presentation, organization, storage, and replenishment of stock.
• Participate in pre-selling and sales-driving events to maximize sales.
• Process new receipts, damages, testers, and return-to-vendor items in a timely manner.
• Keep the work area free from hazards and work safely.
• Follow asset protection, inventory control, compliance, and shortage-prevention procedures.
• Comply with hygiene standards.
• Foster acceptance and respect and build authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform fulfillment and other duties as necessary.
