About The Position

As a Fragrance Sales Associate, you create a warm and welcoming environment through genuine hospitality and exceptional customer service. You engage customers with personalized fragrance recommendations reflecting their style, mood, and preferences. You demonstrate and sell fragrances and related beauty products, educating customers about fragrance notes, layering techniques, and usage. You foster meaningful customer connections, anticipate needs, and contribute to a seamless shopping experience. You help prepare and maintain the sales floor, review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling products, and stay current on trends and promotions. You merchandise products, process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for vendor returns, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. You share loyalty program benefits, help customers complete their purchases, and collaborate with colleagues to serve customers and achieve sales and store results. This is a part-time position at the Florida Mall. Part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week; hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. Schedules include weekend shifts.

Requirements

At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience.
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
Ability to engage customers warmly, assess preferences, demonstrate fragrances, and offer tailored product recommendations.
Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
Ability to maintain merchandising, inventory, hygiene, and compliance standards.
Ability to use point-of-sale technology, digital tools, and clienteling tools.
Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.

Process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for return to vendors, and update signs and pricing.
Use clienteling tools to build customer relationships and promote offers, new launches, and events.
Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and explaining loyalty benefits.
Meet and exceed sales goals through exceptional service.
Use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to process transactions and improve the shopping experience.
Collaborate with colleagues and support one another in serving customers and the community.
Participate in ongoing training and vendor education.
