About The Position

The Retail Store Floor Lead leads the retail sales team by example, builds customer connections, and communicates Vuori’s brand values through product knowledge and an optimistic approach. This position supports the team in maintaining Vuori’s retail sales and customer experience standards and is a key member of the store leadership team, supervising the retail floor, taking initiative, delegating work, and serving as a go-to person. Under the direction of the Store Manager, the Floor Lead assists with leadership duties and works directly with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. The Floor Lead supports daily store operations, sales goals, team leadership, customer relationships, inventory needs, and store maintenance. The role requires availability for morning and/or evening schedules, 8-hour shifts, five days per week, including at least one weekend day.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Create an unforgettable customer experience and work with the sales team to ensure customers receive the best experience possible.
Take ownership of the sales floor and sales team, prioritizing the customer experience.
Prepare fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide customers with knowledgeable and honest feedback on merchandise style and fit.
Build customer relationships by discussing product details, new products, and replenishment, and inviting customers to events.
Stay informed about new and popular products and share product knowledge with customers and the team.
Lead day-to-day store operations when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent.
Motivate the sales team and work toward sales goals in a team-based commission environment.
Develop product knowledge about the broader fashion landscape and activewear.
Lead project completion while maintaining focus on the customer experience.
Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
Work with the Retail Store Manager on daily maintenance, sales strategy, community, and team management.
Lead daily store maintenance, including restocking products, maintaining visual merchandising, and cleaning.
Follow protocol and safety standards when opening and closing the store.
Encourage employees, under the Retail Store Manager’s guidance, to give their full effort and meet punctuality and role responsibilities.
