About The Position

The Retail Store Floor Lead leads the retail sales team by example, builds customer connections, and communicates Vuori’s brand values through product knowledge and an optimistic approach. The role encourages the team to maintain Vuori’s retail sales and customer experience standards. As a key member of the store leadership team, the Floor Lead supervises the sales floor, takes initiative, delegates work, and serves as a go-to person. Under the direction of the Store Manager, the Floor Lead assists with leadership duties and works directly with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. The Floor Lead helps deliver memorable customer experiences, supports day-to-day store operations, motivates the sales team toward sales goals, and helps maintain the store. The position also supports sales strategy, community and team management, inventory needs, visual merchandising, and safe store opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

Available for morning and/or evening shifts of 8 hours, 5 days per week, and at least one weekend day.
Demonstrated punctuality and attendance, adhering to scheduled shifts.
Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues.
Customer service expertise, including creating experiences, building customer relationships, embracing the social aspect of sales, and handling customer concerns positively and proactively.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes.

Responsibilities

Work with the sales team to ensure each customer receives the best possible experience.
Take ownership of the sales floor and team, prioritizing customer experience.
Prepare fitting rooms, find sizes, and give customers knowledgeable, honest feedback on merchandise style and fit.
Build customer relationships by discussing product details, new products, and replenishment, and inviting customers to events.
Stay informed about new and best-selling products and share that knowledge with customers and the team.
Lead day-to-day store operations when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is not present.
Motivate the sales team and work toward sales goals in a team-based commission environment.
Develop product knowledge across fashion and activewear to serve as an expert for customers.
Lead the team in completing projects while keeping customer experience a priority.
Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
Work with the Retail Store Manager on daily maintenance, sales strategy, community, and team management.
Lead daily store maintenance, including restocking, visual merchandising, and cleaning.
Follow safety standards and store protocols when opening and closing the store.
Encourage employees, under the Retail Store Manager’s guidance, to give their full effort and meet punctuality and role responsibilities.
