About The Position

The Retail Store Floor Lead at Vuori leads the retail sales team by example, builds customer connections, and communicates the brand’s values through product knowledge and an optimistic approach. The role helps maintain Vuori’s standards for sales and customer experience and is a key member of the store leadership team, supervising the sales floor, taking initiative, delegating work, and serving as a go-to person. Under the direction of the Store Manager, the Floor Lead assists with leadership duties and works directly with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. When those managers are not in the store, the Floor Lead leads day-to-day store operations, supports sales goals, and helps ensure the store runs smoothly.

Requirements

Available for morning and/or evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, 5 days per week, and at least one weekend day.
Demonstrate punctuality and reliable attendance, adhering to scheduled shifts.
Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues.
Strong customer service skills, including creating customer experiences, building relationships, engaging socially in sales, and handling customer concerns positively and proactively.

Responsibilities

Work with the sales team to ensure each customer receives an excellent experience and make customer experience the first priority on the sales floor.
Prepare fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide customers with knowledgeable feedback about merchandise style and fit.
Build customer relationships by discussing product details, new products, and replenishment, and inviting customers to upcoming events.
Stay informed about new and popular products and share product knowledge with customers and the team.
Lead day-to-day store operations when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is not present.
Motivate the sales team and work toward sales goals in a team-based commission environment.
Develop product knowledge in fashion and activewear to serve as an expert for customers.
Lead the team in completing projects while keeping the customer experience central.
Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
Work with the Retail Store Manager on daily maintenance, sales strategy, community, and team management.
Lead daily store maintenance, including restocking products, maintaining visual merchandising, and cleaning.
Follow protocols and safety standards when opening and closing the store.
Encourage employees, under the Retail Store Manager’s guidance, to give their full effort and meet punctuality and role responsibilities.
