About The Position

Boll & Branch is seeking a part-time Retail Client Advisor to deliver elevated hospitality and customer experiences in its retail environment. The advisor welcomes customers, learns about their needs, provides personalized product recommendations, and supports in-store, virtual, and in-home design consultations. The role involves developing product expertise and lasting customer relationships, supporting sales goals and store performance, and contributing to community initiatives and a collaborative selling culture. Daily work may include opening and closing procedures, cash handling, register reconciliation, visual merchandising, loss prevention, and general housekeeping. The role also includes participating in in-home appointments and installations. A flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays is required based on business needs. Requirements

At least 1 year of retail sales experience; equivalent experience and transferable skills will also be considered.
Passion for hospitality and creating meaningful customer relationships.
Experience with consultative selling, clienteling, or personalized customer service.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Positive attitude and ability to build rapport and engage customers naturally.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort using Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, and Sheets), POS systems, and other retail technology.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders or step stools, and perform in-home services, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

Retail sales experience in specialty retail, luxury retail, home furnishings, hospitality, or another customer-focused environment.
Bilingual English and Spanish.

Identify sales opportunities through product education, cross-selling, and personalized recommendations.
Participate in store events, designer partnerships, and other community initiatives.
Keep the store clean, organized, guest-ready, and aligned with brand standards.
Support opening and closing procedures, cash handling, register reconciliation, and other daily operational routines.
Execute visual merchandising direction and maintain product presentation.
Follow safety, security, and loss-prevention procedures and protect store assets and inventory.
Perform housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, steaming merchandise, and maintaining shared spaces.
Participate in in-home appointments and installations.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
