About The Position

The Retail Cleaning Associate delivers a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate helps maintain a positive store culture, supports customer transactions and loyalty programs, processes merchandise, participates in store recovery and cleanliness, and contributes to safety and shrink-reduction efforts. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Uphold the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and participate in maintaining cleanliness throughout the store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
