About The Position

As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you support activities that create a seamless, personalized shopping experience, including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks. You uphold Macy’s service standards while multitasking, solving problems, paying attention to detail, and prioritizing customers in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and supporting sales goals, teamwork, and genuine hospitality. You help maintain a clean, organized, inviting shopping and service area; welcome customers and build relationships through friendly, personal conversations; and assist with total-store fulfillment. You use the systems needed to complete transactions, keep the collection area organized, and help ensure timely completion and curbside delivery of BOPS orders. You also share loyalty program benefits, support sales goals, and collaborate with colleagues to improve customer and store results. The position requires flexible availability and dependable attendance. Physical duties include talking, lifting, frequent movement, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Colleagues must be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds. The role also requires close and color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers. The posting describes this as a seasonal role. Macy’s says full-time colleagues typically work 30 or more hours per week and part-time colleagues typically work 12–24 hours per week; schedules include weekend shifts, and hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
