Seasonal Retail At Your Service Associate, Anderson Town Center
About The Position
As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you support activities including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards. The role calls for multitasking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability is needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You help create a personalized shopping experience by welcoming customers, assisting with store fulfillment, completing transactions, keeping pickup and return areas organized, and ensuring timely BOPS order completion and curbside delivery. You also help maintain a clean, inviting shopping space, share loyalty program benefits, support sales goals, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver positive customer experiences.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules or procedures in English.
- Ability to make prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs and resolve issues.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
- Enjoyment of meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.

- Ability to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Support At Your Service activities, including Buy Online Pickup In Store, merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks.
- Welcome customers with genuine hospitality and build positive customer relationships.
- Assist customers with total store fulfillment, including Buy Online Pickup In Store orders.
- Use the systems needed to complete transactions and keep the collection area organized for customer pickups.
- Maintain a shoppable space by recovering merchandise and keeping pickup and return areas clean.
- Complete Buy Online Pickup In Store orders promptly and provide curbside delivery.
- Share loyalty program benefits and help acquire new customers by opening credit accounts.
- Work toward sales goals and contribute to individual and store results.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support the team.
- Keep the At Your Service areas clean, organized, and ready for customers.
