About The Position

Murdoch’s is hiring a part-time Retail Associate to provide customers with product knowledge across firearms and ammunition, camping and hiking, hunting and fishing, and other merchandise. The role involves presenting products in a way that supports an easy shopping experience and delivering friendly, helpful service from customers’ arrival through their departure. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to sell firearms.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old to sell firearms.
• Have a can-do attitude.
• Know what motivates you to achieve your best productivity.
• Be prepared for a hard day’s work on your feet and for heavy, repetitive lifting.
• Be legally able to own a firearm.
• Be able to stand for long periods.
• Perform repetitive wrist movements on a keyboard.
• Have close vision for some PC work.
• Be able to bend, carry, push, and reach overhead.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with product knowledge on firearms, ammunition, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, and other products.
• Display products to create an easy shopping experience.
• Deliver friendly customer service throughout the customer’s visit.
