About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations management and team leadership. The role drives daily store performance, motivates employees, and helps ensure seamless customer service. The Assistant Store Manager manages inventory, enhances visual merchandising, and executes sales management initiatives to contribute to store profitability and success. The position may require occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation, acting as a brand ambassador.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and operational processes.
• Support peak store operations, including occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Drive revenue growth by implementing performance strategies, setting expectations, and exceeding sales goals.
• Proactively address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
