About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations management and team leadership. The role drives daily store performance, inspires employees, and helps ensure seamless customer service. It contributes to store profitability by managing inventory, enhancing visual merchandising, and carrying out sales management initiatives. The position also involves supporting store systems and operational processes, including scheduling and opening and closing procedures. The role may require occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and operational processes.
• Implement performance strategies, set expectations, and exceed sales goals to drive revenue growth.
• Proactively address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
• Occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of supporting peak store operations.
