Retail Assistant Manager
About The Position
The Retail Assistant Manager (RAM) works in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment as a connection between customers and the T-Mobile brand. The role involves developing customer and colleague relationships, staying knowledgeable about phones and wireless plans, delivering customer service, and supporting store operations and revenue goals. The RAM is responsible for achieving assigned performance metrics and may perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. The position is with T-Mobile Premium Retailer – TCC Wireless at the Lehigh Acres, Florida location. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of experience in retail and/or sales with a strong customer focus.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.
- Professional, energetic, honest, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to problem-solve, analyze results, plan for the future, and make sound decisions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for long periods on the sales floor.
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by greeting store customers, answering phones, and assessing customer needs.
- Drive monthly revenue goals by acquiring new customer accounts, maximizing existing accounts, identifying revenue opportunities, and meeting quality metrics.
- Build relationships with TCC Wireless employees and customers across all business channels.
- Work with store management to open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits in accordance with operations control standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain the store appearance, back room, restrooms, and individual work area according to retail store standards.
- Explore customer needs and support service activations, account changes, bill payments, equipment replacement, accessory sales, price plan changes, and upgrades.
- Achieve assigned performance metrics.
