About The Position

Krispy Kreme is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in creating a memorable customer experience and supporting shop operations. The role includes building a customer-focused team, developing staff, maintaining operational standards, and meeting or exceeding shop goals. The long-term objective is to develop the skills needed to become a General Manager at Krispy Kreme.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Five years of experience in a job involving the food service or retail industry.
At least two years of management experience.
At least 18 years of age.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to nurturing an equitable, unbiased culture where employees are empowered to express their originality.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Travel requirement of 0–10%.

Responsibilities

Manage and build a team of customer-focused employees through coaching, measurement, and fostering teamwork.
Assist the General Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, onboarding, and resolving team-member disputes.
Maintain knowledge of products and current promotions.
Assist with in-shop accounting, including cash handling, corporate financial and operational reporting, counting and depositing revenue, and inventory control.
Ensure equipment and resources are operational for team-member use, including production equipment, POS systems, retail equipment, drive-thru equipment, and processing equipment.
Maintain shop sanitation and cleanliness.
Provide exceptional customer service and foster a culture in which people feel welcomed and valued.
Support shop operations and help meet or exceed shop goals.
