About The Position

A Bloomingdale’s Restaurant Supervisor is an essential part of the customer experience and helps deliver the company’s mission. The Supervisor leads customer-facing, production, and culinary colleagues who provide a high level of customer service. The restaurant team creates an engaging experience through service, knowledge of menu selections, and awareness of store happenings. Bloomingdale’s restaurants feature creative culinary dishes and attentive wait staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of direct experience.
• Health department license or certification, Food Handlers certification, and/or alcohol certification as required by state or local requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Resourceful self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Train, lead, and motivate service and production staff.
• Ensure company visual and merchandising standards are met and maintained.
• Manage peak-demand scheduling, floor coverage, and supervision.
• Assess food quality and presentation and ensure quality control.
• Maintain kitchen organization and inventory.
• Place food and supply orders using established procedures.
