About The Position
Boddie-Noell Enterprises is hiring a Restaurant Shift Leader for a Hardee’s restaurant. The role trains to operate the restaurant in the absence of the Senior/General Manager and supports sales growth by maintaining high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness while focusing on profitability and operating standards. Managers work alongside crew members, lead by example, address guest complaints, and help resolve operational issues. The Shift Leader supervises shifts, trains and develops crew members, supports restaurant operations, and helps maintain a safe, compliant, and harmonious workplace. The position is expected to uphold company standards and represent Boddie-Noell professionally.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must meet the physical demands required of the role.
- Must be able to lead, recognize, and train successful talent.
- One year of shift management experience.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Consistent and reliable.

Responsibilities
- Supervise shifts and maintain company standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Train and develop crew members under management direction.
- Maintain a cooperative working relationship with management and crew, and assist with crew duties as needed.
- Conduct pre-shift crew meetings as needed to discuss operations, promotions, safety, security, and training.
- Manage labor costs to meet company standards.
- Control inventory to meet company GAP standards.
- Maintain reports and records according to company standards and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Maintain the building and equipment using proper operating, cleaning, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Be responsible for cash, including bank deposits, while in charge of a shift, and ensure cash procedures are followed.
- Maintain a professional appearance that meets company standards.
- Enforce human resources, sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures while in charge of a shift.
- Demonstrate Boddie-Noell’s vision and values, perform other tasks as directed by management, and represent the company professionally.
- Help maintain product quality, resolve guest complaints, and address operational problems while working alongside crew members.
