About The Position

Interim Healthcare is hiring a Traveling Phlebotomist for a 5–10 week assignment, with the potential for an extension or other assignments. The position involves traveling to skilled nursing facilities and other care settings to collect blood samples, helping residents avoid traveling to a laboratory. The employee starts in St. Louis Park, gathers supplies, and drives a company vehicle to facilities in the west metro, including Meeker and Wright counties. The scheduled hours are 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pay is $31–$35 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

At least one year of phlebotomy experience.
At least 1,000 blood draws outside of training.
Ability to complete difficult blood draws.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling.
Clean driving record and current auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
Experience with the geriatric population is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collect specimens and perform blood draws, including difficult blood draws.
Drive a company vehicle to nursing facilities or group homes to perform blood draws.
Label, document, and process blood samples accurately.
Provide strong customer service.
