About The Position

Parks Hospitality Group is seeking a warm and enthusiastic Restaurant Server for the Montford Rooftop Bar at the DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville Downtown. This interactive role involves guiding guests through the menu and creating positive dining experiences through attentive, knowledgeable service. The position is part-time and requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of restaurant serving experience.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming dining experience.
• Present menus, take accurate orders, and provide tailored recommendations.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately while attending to guest needs.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address requests, and refill beverages.
• Answer guest questions about menu items and dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Clear and reset tables to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate concerns to management when needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including dining area setup and workstation cleaning.
