About The Position

The Dishwasher operates dish machines according to company and manufacturer specifications, uses the proper amounts of detergent and sanitizer, and keeps dishware and storage areas clean, stocked, and organized. The role includes removing garbage and breaking down, cleaning, and sanitizing the dish machine at the end of a shift. This is a part-time opportunity at Lavender Rooftop Kitchen + Bar, paying $15.00 per hour. Previous experience is preferred but not necessary.

Requirements

• Demonstrate professionalism.
• Display a consistently caring and respectful attitude.
• Act as a gracious host to guests, vendors, and candidates for employment.
• Have a Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Be able to handle high heat and moisture.
• Meet the minimum age requirement of the jurisdiction.
• Communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Operate dish machines according to company and manufacturer specifications.
• Use proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine.
• Restock dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Remove all garbage.
• Break down, clean, and sanitize the dish machine at the end of a shift.
• Keep dish and other storage areas clean and organized.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.
