About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Restaurant Server for Embassy Suites by Hilton. The role supports the company’s hospitality-focused service culture by prioritizing the needs of guests and team members and providing attentive, authentic service. Servers take and deliver food orders, help maintain an appealing and clean dining area, comply with alcohol-service regulations, and handle guest checks and payments. The position requires a team-oriented person who can multitask, communicate effectively, and work flexible hours and shifts.

Requirements

• At least a high school education.
• At least one year of experience in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
• Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers and calculators.
• Basic mathematical skills for making change and issuing refunds.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Post-high-school education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
• Monitor food distribution to ensure meals reach the correct guests and are properly prepared and presented, and that the buffet is appealing.
• Check the service station before, during, and after the shift for proper setup and cleanliness.
• Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations when serving alcoholic beverages, including rules related to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Become familiar with menu items, their preparation, and service procedures.
• Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
• Assist with bussing tables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
