About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Server for Embassy Suites by Hilton. The role is part of a hospitality organization focused on service, respect, authenticity, and meeting the needs of guests and colleagues. The Server takes guest orders, supports food service and presentation, maintains station cleanliness, follows liquor regulations, processes checks and payments, and assists with bussing tables. The position requires hotel or restaurant serving experience and the ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
• Team player.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
• Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
• Ability to operate available equipment such as cash registers and calculators.
• Basic mathematical skills needed to make change and give refunds.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

• Post-high-school education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
• Monitor food distribution to ensure meals are delivered to the correct recipients and are properly prepared and presented, or that the buffet is appealing.
• Check the station before, during, and after shifts for proper setup and cleanliness.
• Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations when serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Know menu items, their preparation, and service procedures.
• Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
• Assist with bussing tables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
