About The Position

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Server to join a vibrant dining team. The server welcomes guests, takes food and beverage orders, and helps ensure an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Strong customer service, attention to detail, food safety, and efficient service are important to creating memorable guest experiences in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking among serving, bussing, and assisting colleagues.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and performing simple calculations for bills or tips.
• Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous restaurant experience or a food service background is preferred.
• Fine dining experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast and experience with OpenTable.
• Experience in food industry roles such as serving, host/hostess duties, or food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, using reservation systems such as OpenTable when applicable.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, note special requests, and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff.
• Use Toast POS to process orders and payments and handle cash or card transactions efficiently.
• Suggest and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, meeting presentation standards and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation protocols.
• Clear tables, bus dishes, maintain a tidy dining area, and assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and ensure satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
