About The Position

Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort and The Set are seeking a Restaurant Server to provide food and beverage service and create memorable guest experiences. The role involves engaging warmly with guests, learning menu offerings, processing and delivering orders, keeping the service station stocked and organized, and complying with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations. Candidates should have strong customer service and English communication skills, be of legal age to serve alcohol in the state of employment, and be available for a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior food-service experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food-service experience in a restaurant, coffee shop, cruise ship, military, cafeteria, healthcare, education, or entertainment setting.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wines, beers, spirits, cocktails, hot and non-alcoholic beverages, cuisines, and accompaniments.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with guests in an upbeat, friendly manner and proactively look for ways to make their meal experience special.
• Learn menu items, promotions, and specials to assist guests and answer their questions confidently.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and deliver completed orders promptly and accurately.
• Keep the food service station stocked, clean, and organized.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
