About The Position

The Director of Finance oversees all financial operations at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort, aligning financial strategy with the hotel’s goals to optimize profitability and efficiency. The role directs financial planning and analysis, including annual plans, projections, and budgets, and provides insights to support business decisions. As the primary financial advisor to hotel management, ownership, and department heads, the Director offers data-driven recommendations to improve financial performance.

The position ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), protects hotel assets through strong financial controls, and oversees systems and processes for accurate, efficient, and transparent financial reporting. It also oversees and authorizes hotel sales, purchases, salaries, and expenses. The Director cultivates a high-performing team through performance management, professional development, and recognition.
