About The Position

Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort is seeking a friendly, attentive, and proactive Bellperson with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to exceptional guest experiences. The role involves welcoming guests, providing personalized service, assisting with luggage and transportation, and ensuring that arrivals, departures, and other interactions reflect Hilton hospitality. Bellpeople help guests transport and store luggage, explain room features and amenities, and operate property vehicles for guest transportation. They also maintain bell carts and work areas in good condition. This is a part-time position with open availability for a flexible schedule covering all shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

• Strong English communication skills and the ability to respond professionally to guest requests and inquiries.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver luggage and belongings.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, with the ability to safely transport guests.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to remain professional and attentive in a fast-paced resort environment.

• Previous hotel, bell, valet, or guest service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort arriving and departing guests, transport luggage, and familiarize guests with their rooms and amenities.
• Retrieve, transport, organize, and store guest luggage according to hotel standards and procedures.
• Operate property vehicles to transport guests to and from designated destinations, including the airport and local destinations as needed.
• Keep bell carts and work areas clean and in good working order.
