About The Position

The Restaurant Server supports the hotel’s restaurant and outlet services by providing friendly, courteous, professional, and thoughtful guest service in a fast-paced environment. The role includes taking and delivering food and beverage orders, ensuring guest satisfaction, processing payments, organizing and restocking the restaurant, monitoring inventory, and maintaining clean, sanitary, functional service areas. Compensation is listed as $16.90 per hour plus tips in the introduction and $16.50 per hour plus tips under Compensation.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of server experience in a similar role; experience in a similar-sized operation is preferred.
Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required.
Food Handlers Certification required.
Ability to kneel, stoop, grasp, lift, carry, and transport 50–75 pounds.
Ability to stand and move about in restaurant and kitchen areas for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

Deliver thoughtful, high-quality service to guests.
Take and deliver food and beverage orders enthusiastically.
Revisit tables regularly to refill beverages and ensure guest satisfaction.
Generate guest checks through the PMS and efficiently receive payments.
Keep the restaurant organized and replenish condiments and supplies.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and functionality of restaurant and service workstations.
