About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a customer-focused Restaurant Server for breakfast service at the Doubletree by Hilton Jacksonville Airport. The server is responsible for guests’ restaurant experience, from preparing the dining area before service and welcoming guests to guiding them through the menu, serving food and beverages, and presenting accurate bills. The role calls for an early riser with an engaging attitude who can work quickly and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. The property describes a culture centered on personal development, people, and helping team members succeed. The role offers an opportunity to grow and learn at the property. Compensation is $10.98.
Requirements
- Must be an early-morning person.
- Engaging and welcoming personality.
- Ability to describe and sell menu items.
- Two to four years of food service experience.
- Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for creating an exceptional experience for guests.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the restaurant before each shift.
- Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant.
- Guide guests through the menu using descriptive selling.
- Take orders accurately and confirm special requests.
- Know menu details to support guest conversations.
- Collaborate with restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff.
- Assist guests with concerns and guide them toward a satisfactory resolution.
- Present bills promptly and accurately.
- Ensure tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive.
- Serve food and beverages.
