About The Position
The Restaurant Manager leads the restaurant’s daily operations, maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction while creating welcoming, memorable dining experiences. The role involves developing and training team members, maintaining food quality and presentation, and supporting a positive, collaborative work environment. The manager also implements marketing and sales strategies, monitors financial performance, controls costs, and works to improve profitability. The position ensures compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and stays informed about industry trends to recommend menu enhancements and other improvements. The role is at Three Waters Resort & Marina, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Resort in Islamorada, Florida. The resort spans 15 oceanfront acres and includes 214 guest rooms, a marina, watersports, event venues, and nine culinary outlets.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Six months to one year of experience in a management position.
- Ability to schedule, forecast, and budget the department.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members.
- Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
