About The Position
The Optimist in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead its service team. The role assists in directing the team and monitoring the complete restaurant operation on a shift basis, leading in an open, positive, and approachable manner. The Restaurant Manager participates in menu changes, hires, trains, and supervises staff, and addresses potential issues quickly, appropriately, and proactively where possible. The position maintains the daily communication log for restaurant staff and management and monitors labor, scheduling, and overtime to support productivity and profitability.
Requirements
- Three years of progressive restaurant experience preferred, including one year in a supervisory or management position.
