About The Position

HALL Park Hotel, Autograph Collection, is hiring a Restaurant Host to create an exceptional dining experience from guests’ arrival through departure. The host manages reservations and seating, recognizes returning guests, and coordinates with the service team to support a smooth dining experience. The role calls for warmth, attention to detail, and a professional presence in a fast-paced dining environment. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, manage guest flow, and remain composed under pressure.
• Must meet applicable state and local age requirements.
• Must obtain and maintain required food handler certifications.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; reach, bend, and stoop; and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to escort guests comfortably throughout the dining room and maintain professional service standards in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment and follow hotel safety procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or upscale restaurants.
• Professional phone etiquette and confidence using reservation systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally.
• Create a positive first and last impression through thoughtful, personalized service.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, guest flow, and seating.
• Recognize returning guests and attend to special requests with care and discretion.
• Communicate and coordinate with Servers, Managers, and other hotel teams to support a smooth dining experience.
• Remain calm, polished, and attentive in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Escort guests throughout the dining room.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and follow hotel safety procedures.
