About The Position

The Restaurant Busser assists servers in providing guests with courteous and efficient food and beverage service according to hotel specifications. The role maintains the cleanliness of tables, service areas, and equipment, and stocks the wares and equipment needed for service. It also supports the Food and Beverage Department’s daily operational procedures, food and beverage safety and quality standards, and communication among hotel leadership and staff.

Requirements

• Previous guest relations experience and/or training.
• Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and coworkers so they understand.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for the clientele.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in providing courteous and efficient food and beverage service to guests according to hotel specifications.
• Maintain the cleanliness of tables, service areas, and equipment.
• Stock wares and equipment needed for service.
• Ensure compliance with and completion of the Food and Beverage Department’s daily operational procedures.
• Maintain food and beverage safety and quality according to hotel, Shaner, and franchise specifications.
• Communicate with the General Manager, other Department Managers, Supervisors, and Staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
