About The Position

The Busser maintains cleanliness and organization in the dining area by clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, and supporting the restaurant’s sanitation standards. The role helps provide efficient service and a positive dining experience for guests. It is a part-time, non-exempt position in Dallas, Texas, paying $10.81 per hour, and reports to the Restaurant Manager. The work is primarily indoors and involves frequent standing and walking throughout the shift, exposure to cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment, and repetitive physical tasks. The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Night, weekend, and holiday work may be required. Requirements

Strong communication and teamwork skills to assist servers and provide excellent guest service.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks such as clearing and resetting tables.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

Clear used dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables promptly.
Clean and reset tables so they are neat and ready for the next guest.
Assist servers by delivering food and beverages as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including floors, chairs, and service stations.
Refill water glasses and provide additional service support as required.
Carry dishes, trays, and glassware to the dishwashing area.
Keep service stations stocked with necessary supplies throughout the shift.
Follow food-handling sanitation and safety guidelines.
Assist with restaurant setup and breakdown during opening and closing shifts.
