About The Position

The Busser maintains cleanliness and organization in the dining area by clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, and helping ensure the restaurant meets sanitation standards. The role supports efficient service and a positive guest dining experience. This position is part-time and reports to the Restaurant Manager. It is based in Dallas, Texas, is classified as non-exempt, and pays $10.81 per hour. The work is primarily indoors and involves frequent standing and walking, exposure to cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment, and repetitive tasks. The position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

Clear used dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables promptly and efficiently.
Clean and reset tables, keeping dining areas neat and presentable.
Assist servers by delivering food and beverages as needed.
Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors, chairs, and service stations.
Refill water glasses and provide additional service support as required.
Carry dishes, trays, and glassware to the dishwashing area.
Keep service stations stocked with necessary supplies throughout the shift.
Follow food-handling sanitation and safety guidelines.
Assist with restaurant setup and breakdown during opening and closing shifts.
