About The Position
The Server Assistant/Busser supports restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness, resetting tables to keep service flowing efficiently, and assisting servers and hosts as needed. The role also requires maintaining elevated guest-service standards in a fast-paced luxury hotel restaurant environment. This is a part-time position at Marisol at The Cliffs Hotel & Spa in Pismo Beach.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Working knowledge of guest services in a luxury hotel setting.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Ability to work effectively with people.
- Ability to multitask and work in mentally demanding situations.
- RBS certification.
- Restaurant experience.
- Energetic, friendly, positive, and reliable disposition.
- Ability to work quickly with attention to detail.
- Ability to stand continuously for an eight-hour shift.
- Ability to lift large dish bins and other items weighing up to 80 pounds throughout an eight-hour shift.
- Ability to work in stressful situations.
- Ability to move furniture and umbrella stands continuously throughout an eight-hour shift.
Responsibilities
