About The Position

The Lambertville Station Inn is seeking a team-oriented candidate for a Busser position. No experience is required, and on-site training is available. The candidate must be willing to work weekends and/or holidays if needed. The role is performed in a restaurant environment where noise is usually moderate to high. The employee regularly uses their hands to handle or feel, reaches with their hands and arms, and talks or hears. Standing and walking are frequently required. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision, as well as focus.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
• Promptly greet guests as they are seated.
• Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for the next course.
• Clear tables after guests leave.
• Take tableware to the dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, and other items in appropriate areas for washing.
• Promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and booths between seating.
• Check the floor and clean it as required.
• Respond appropriately to guests’ requests.
• Communicate guests’ requests as needed.
• Communicate with servers and the hostess to support efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
• Assist servers with food delivery as needed, especially for large parties and during peak periods.
• Thank guests as they leave.
• Fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient diner operations, as directed by the manager or immediate supervisor.
