Restaurant Assistant Manager
About The Position
DiBella’s is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to lead the crew and help provide an excellent dining experience for guests. The manager sets an example of friendly, upbeat customer service and motivates and guides crew members during shifts. Training is provided; previous restaurant experience and a positive, leadership-oriented attitude are sought. Day-to-day work may include making subs, operating the register, cleaning, scheduling, and other shift duties. The stated schedule is 45 hours per week: 40 regular hours and 5 overtime hours. The role does not involve fryer work or alcohol service, and the posting says there are no late nights or overnight shifts, while also noting that nights, weekends, and holidays may occasionally be required.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on occasion.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as the crew handbook.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, balance friendliness with efficiency, and maintain focus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
- Frequently stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
