About The Position

As the Assistant Manager at Marco’s Pizza, you will lead and develop people to deliver outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales, and control restaurant costs. The role supports the restaurant’s people, product, and management operations while helping create a positive company culture and achieve store goals.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco’s leadership behaviors and values.
• Promote the company culture and philosophies to attract, retain, and develop team members.
• Contribute to hiring, retaining, and developing team members.
• Train team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures.
• Assist the manager with human resources tasks, including scheduling, performance feedback, and communication.
• Maintain standards for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Ensure appropriate inventory par levels and ordering systems are in place.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer complaints as needed.
• Assist with marketing events and promotions to increase store sales.
• Track weekly KPIs and plan to achieve goals.
• Ensure the store and exterior property are maintained.
• Follow proper security and verification procedures when handling deposits and safe contents.
• Manage P&L line items to reduce waste and ensure store profitability.
