Restaurant Assistant Manager
About The Position
DiBella’s is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to lead the crew during shifts and help provide guests with an excellent, friendly, and upbeat dining experience. The role suits a positive, motivating leader with previous restaurant experience who can be fun yet firm when needed. Training is provided. Day-to-day duties may include making subs, operating the register, cleaning, scheduling, and other shift responsibilities. The position is described as having a 45-hour work week: 40 regular hours and 5 overtime hours. The restaurant has no fryer or alcohol service and no late-night or overnight work.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on occasion.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as the crew handbook.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, balance friendliness with efficiency, and maintain focus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
- Positive attitude and leadership ability to motivate others.
