About The Position
Jovie is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide in-home respite care for children with support needs throughout Orange County. The position offers full-time or part-time work with local families. Caregivers create safe, engaging experiences, support children’s routines and individual needs, communicate with parents, and build relationships with families. Most assignments involve infants and toddlers, though some may include older children. Assignments vary based on family needs, caregiver availability, and scheduling preferences. Pay is $18–$21 per hour, plus $2 per hour for each additional sibling in care and overtime pay. Eligible full-time team members may receive PTO, paid holidays, healthcare stipends, and retirement savings matching.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of infant childcare experience.
- Enjoy working with infants.
- Dependable and professional.
- Communicate well with parents and children.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Provide at least two references related to childcare work and one character reference.
- At least 18 years old.
- Childcare experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings; experience with family and friends does not count.

- Monday–Friday availability is preferred.
