Full Time or Part Time Infant Nanny Jobs in Redondo Beach, CA | Flexible Childcare Position
About The Position
Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for infants and toddlers with local families throughout Redondo Beach, California. This position offers full-time or part-time work, with daytime hours, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth. Assignments may involve one or multiple families, depending on family needs, the caregiver’s availability, and scheduling preferences. Most assignments involve infants and toddlers, although opportunities may occasionally include older children. Availability Monday through Friday is preferred. Most shifts occur between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM and typically last 6–9 hours. Pay is $20–$22.25 per hour, plus overtime pay. Eligible full-time team members may receive PTO, paid holidays, healthcare stipends, and retirement savings matching. Pay dates are every two weeks.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of infant childcare experience; experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings, but not experience working with family and friends.
- Love working with infants.
- Be dependable and professional.
- Communicate well with parents and children.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Provide at least two references related to childcare work and one character reference.
- Be at least 18 years old.
