Full Time or Part Time Infant Nanny Jobs in Lake Forest, CA | Flexible Childcare Position
About The Position
Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for infants with local families throughout Lake Forest, California. The role involves caring primarily for infants and toddlers, supporting feeding, naps, and daily routines, and encouraging learning through reading, play, and age-appropriate activities. Caregivers communicate with parents about each child’s day and create a positive environment where children can learn and grow. Assignments vary based on family needs, the caregiver’s availability, and scheduling preferences, and may involve one or multiple families. Most shifts occur between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM and typically last 6–9 hours. Monday–Friday availability is preferred. The position offers flexible scheduling, paid training and professional development, employer-sponsored CPR and First Aid, and a supportive leadership team. Eligible full-time team members may also receive PTO, paid holidays, healthcare stipends, and retirement savings matching. Pay is $20–$22.25 per hour, plus overtime pay.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of infant childcare experience; experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings, but not from working with family and friends.
- Love working with infants.
- Be dependable and professional.
- Communicate well with parents and children.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Provide references: at least 2 related to childcare work and 1 character reference.
- Be at least 18 years old.
