About The Position

Indiana Fitness Works is seeking a Respiratory Therapist or Nurse to provide respiratory care to residents in a long-term care setting at Westridge Health Care Center in Terre Haute, Indiana. The role is full-time and involves 12-hour shifts, with rotating weekends and a requirement to work every other weekend. Shifts are 6 a.m.–6 p.m. or 6 p.m.–6 a.m. Weekend bonus is available. Previous ventilator and tracheostomy experience is a plus but is not required; on-site training is available. Respiratory therapy students are welcome to apply. The pay range is $32–$52 per hour, depending on respiratory or nursing license, experience, and shift. The employer offers a comprehensive benefits package and continuing education opportunities. Requirements

Hold certification or licensure as an RRT, CRT, RCP, RN, or LPN.
Basic life support certification is required.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Must be able to work every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license is preferred.
Previous ventilator and tracheostomy experience is a plus, but not required.
Respiratory therapy students are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer and document respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and record vital signs, including oxygen saturation levels and heart rate.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and disease management.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive resident care.
Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support as needed.
