Respiratory Therapy - RRT, CRT, RCP, RN, LPN
About The Position
Indiana Fitness Works is seeking a highly skilled respiratory therapist or nurse to provide respiratory care to residents in a long-term care setting at Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Centre in Winchester, Indiana. The position is full time, with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends. Shifts are 6 a.m.–6 p.m. or 6 p.m.–6 a.m., and employees must be able to work every other weekend. Weekend bonus is available. Previous ventilator and tracheostomy experience is a plus but is not required; on-site training is available. Respiratory therapy students are welcome to apply. Pay is $32–$52 per hour, based on respiratory or nursing license, experience, and shift.
Requirements
- Certified RRT, CRT, RCP, RN, or LPN.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Basic life support certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license preferred.
- Previous ventilator and tracheostomy experience is a plus but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer and document respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including oxygen saturation and heart rate.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive resident care.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide basic life support as needed.
