About The Position

Indiana Fitness Works is seeking a Respiratory Therapist or Nurse to provide respiratory care to residents, with a focus on pediatrics, at Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton, Indiana. This full-time role involves 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends, with the ability to work every other weekend required. Shifts are 6 a.m.–6 p.m. or 6 p.m.–6 a.m.; a weekend bonus is available. Pay is $32–$52 per hour, depending on respiratory or nursing license, experience, and shift. Previous ventilator and tracheostomy experience is a plus but not required; on-site training is available. Respiratory therapy students are welcome to apply. Requirements

Certified RRT, CRT, RCP, RN, or LPN.
Basic life support certification.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Ability to work every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license preferred.
Previous ventilator and tracheostomy experience is a plus but not required.
Respiratory therapy students are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer and document respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and record vital signs, including oxygen saturation and heart rate.
Educate patients and their families about respiratory care techniques and disease management.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive resident care.
Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support as needed.
